While our charter school is very good in many ways, and my daughter loves her class, I guess I’m concerned about a public school telling me that they may not be able to meet my NLD child’s needs. Granted, a charter school is different from a mainstream public school, and ours has some financial limitations, but even so, aren’t they “required” to meet her needs? I’ve only begun to read about others’ experiences here, Wrights Law, etc. and I’m realistic enough not to expect a completely ideal situation.
