Thanks to you both for your input and suggestions for further reading. Another question for you experts. What about sensory integration disorders? My son is sound hypersensitive and easily distracted by noises. I have heard about something called Auditory Integration Training and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this method to treat sound sensitivity? It’s very expensive and I don’t know of much evidence to support it’s effectiveness.
