—-I have an idea for my 19 year old NLD son that has me a little excited. His 2 main strengths in life are sweetness and reading. While he can’t function well socially, he enjoys and takes pride in reading to people. I’m looking for some opportunities for him to be a ‘volunteer reader’. I’m in the process of talking with schools and a hospital, but Christmas vacations are putting me on hold.
—-I’m imagining that this could be a stepping stone. It might lead him into something fulfilling and something that he can have some desperately needed success at.
—-Does anyone know of such ‘reading opportunities’?
